“Per me reges regnant...” (Prov. 8:15): Wisdom in the First Vita of St. Simeon of Serbia This article aims to trace the interpretation of the theme of Wisdom in the Vita of St. Simeon by St. Sava, and its connections with other biblical themes and motifs, with references to various literary sources, models, and patterns employed by the earliest Slavic literary tradition.
